Introduction
Vikas The Concept School, we believe in nurturing not just academic excellence but also the all-
round development of our students. One of the cornerstone programs that embody this philosophy
is our National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit. The NCC is a prestigious organization that offers young
students the opportunity to develop crucial life skills, leadership qualities, and a sense of patriotic
duty. Here, we delve into what makes our NCC unit a vibrant and integral part of our school
community.

History and Legacy
Our association with NCC company was established in 2023 approved by 1(T) ARMED SQN, aligning with the national vision of fostering disciplined and patriotic youth. Since then, it has grown to become a pillar of our school's extracurricular activities, producing cadets who excel not only in academics but also in their personal and professional lives.

Enrollment Process:
Students eager to join the NCC undergo a selection process that includes physical fitness tests,
interviews, and an assessment of their overall enthusiasm and commitment. This rigorous process
ensures that only the most dedicated and passionate students become part of our esteemed NCC
unit. The student has to undergo training sessions for 2 years of tenure

Training and Activities
Military Training: Cadets are trained in basic military skills, including drill, map reading, weapon
handling, and field craft. This training instills discipline, precision, and a sense of responsibility in our
students.

Adventure and Sports: Our NCC cadets participate in a variety of adventure activities such as
trekking, rock climbing, and mountaineering. These activities not only build physical endurance but
also foster teamwork and resilience.

Community Service: Social service is a significant component of the NCC program at our school.
Cadets engage in activities like blood donation drives, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and awareness
campaigns on health and education, contributing positively to the community.

Camps and Competitions: Attendance at NCC camps, such as the Annual Training Camps (ATC- 10
days, which is a basic camp in the 2 years of tenure) and National Integration Camps (NIC), provides
our cadets with exposure to diverse cultures and experiences. Participation in competitions at these
camps helps hone their competitive spirit

Benefits
Military Career: NCC cadets are given preference in recruitment for the Indian Armed Forces. They
also have the opportunity to appear for the NCC Special Entry Scheme in the Indian Army, Navy, and
Air Force.

Scholarships: Various scholarships and financial assistance programs are available for meritorious
cadets.

Personality Development: Participation in NCC activities helps in overall personality development,
including leadership and management skills.

Kamalesh Swargam's stellar performance in the JEE MAIN 2024 (session-1) with an impressive score of 99.49%, underscores the efficacy of VIKAS THE CONCEPT SCHOOL in preparing students for competitive exams. With coaching starting from the 6th grade, the school focuses on building a strong foundation in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, supported by dedicated teachers who provide guidance and assistance even during holidays.

Entrepreneurship is a really enjoyable class and I really liked it. I learned many new things from this class and enjoy it. I learned to explore to new things and that I can make things with minimum products. According to me entrepreneurship is a very valuable class and I think more people should try it. I would be happy if the classes start again.

Learning through the virtual classroom is easy and fun. A student/learner can clarify his/her doubts and discuss the concept in detail. My teachers adapt different strategies to explain the lesson for better results.

I really enjoyed the online art classes conducted by my school, Vikas. I found that there was a personal connection between me and my teacher. The virtual art class helped me express my creativity and I was encouraged to draw and paint whatever I wanted to. I had the freedom to be independent and use the technology to my best advantage. It was a great experience and I would like to attend more such virtual art classes

The summer classes of entrepreneurship were really fun and interesting. It gave me the freedom to imagine and to create new ideas. The classes taught me teamwork to figure out an answer to a problem. We also had group projects which were really fun and enjoyable. We created objects that were unique Entrepreneurship is something that we should learn when in a business and in life. I think we should continue having entrepreneurship classes next year too!
